Εμπνευσμένο από το σύνδρομο Cotard: Η άρνηση της ύπαρξης συναντάται στο 45% των περιπτώσεων. Το άλλο 55% παρουσιάζει την αυταπάτη της αθανασίας. Η Mademoiselle X είναι ένα ξεχωριστό πρόσωπο στα γραπτά του Cotard. Το παραπάνω ποίημα είναι εμπνευσμένο από αυτήν. Το έργο είναι μια τεκμηριωμένη παράσταση θεάτρου και ασχολείται με την κατάσταση της ανάρτησης: ύπαρξη και μη ύπαρξη, εδώ/εκεί/μέσα/έξω. Το σπικάζ προέρχεται από τα κείμενα του Jules Cotard: A study on Neurological Disorders/Μια μελέτη για τις Νευρολογικές Διαταραχές (αρχικά παρατίθεται στο Unsorcery: Dead Thinking, Alina Popa, 2018).

Inspired by Cotard’s syndrome: Denial of Self existence is present in 45% of the cases. The other 55% presented with the delusion of immortality. Mademoiselle X is a distinct persona in Cotard’s writings. The above poem is inspired by her. The project is a documented physical theatre performance and deals with the state of Suspension: being and not being, here/there/in/out.
