Η ταινία μεταδίδει τις σκέψεις και τα συναισθήματα μιας μηχανικού που βρέθηκε σε ένα καράβι υπεράκτιων εργασιών, το οποίο παραμένει σχεδόν ακίνητο κάτω από τη γέφυρα του Ρίου-Αντιρρίου. Ο περιορισμός της παραμονής της για δύο μήνες σε αυτό το καράβι περιγράφεται μέσα από τις στατικές εικόνες του πλωτού, του περιβάλλοντα χώρου και τις “βουβές” συνομιλίες της με τον έξω κόσμο.
