Πριν ξεκινήσει την ταινία “Οι Ευνοούμενοι Του Φεγγαριού”, ο Ιοσελιάνι ήθελε να αποτυπώσει σε φιλμ τις πρώτες του εντυπώσεις από το Παρίσι και τους κατοίκούς του. Σε αυτή την ασπρόμαυρη σπουδή, τα σύντομα επεισόδια -ένας ηλικιωμένος που φεύγει από το σπίτι και κάθεται σε ένα παγκάκι, ένα άντρας και μια γυναίκα συναντιούνται σε ένα καφέ, δυο άντρες ανταλλάσσουν πυροβολισμούς, κ.α.- διανθίζονται από ρυθμικές εικόνες και ήχους της πόλης.
